Lydia Cambron is a designer working in objects and environments. Her practice ranges from applied to conceptual, with a focus on designing experiences that speak to our habits and leverage our tendencies.
She is interested in private behaviors, those typically regarded as embarrassing, uncomfortable, or merely inconvenient. Her work explores how design can respond to these feelings, highlighting the value of addressing these tendencies and acknowledging their effects.
Using the language of familiar form and the lubricant of humor, she embeds new functions into our daily scenarios, creating experiences that champion our shortcomings and find success in our failures.
